A Letter from the Executive Director

This year marks the 50th anniversary of our dedicated service to youth experiencing homelessness in the Omaha area. Over the past five decades, we have had the privilege of helping countless young individuals find safety, support, and a path to a brighter future. The journey has been remarkable, and it is a testament to the unwavering support of our community, partners, and friends like you.

As we reflect on our past, we also look forward to an exciting future. I am thrilled to introduce our 50 Years of YES Campaign. This campaign is not only a celebration of our past accomplishments but also a pivotal moment in our history. We are embarking on an ambitious project to consolidate our nine scattered locations into a single, comprehensive campus that will transform the way we serve the youth of our community.

The consolidation of our services into one centralized campus will allow us to provide even more comprehensive and efficient care to the youth we serve. It will offer them a safe and supportive environment where they can access shelter, counseling, education, and job training all in one place. It will be a place where young people experiencing homelessness can find hope, healing, and a renewed sense of possibility.

We will be sharing more details over the next year at this website. We’re excited to give you updates and stories about this exciting time. I hope you can find the time to learn more about this initiative and the various ways you can contribute.

Please consider joining us on this exciting journey. Your support, whether through financial contributions, in-kind donations, or volunteerism, will make a tremendous impact. Together, we can create a brighter and more secure future for the youth who depend on us for help and hope.

Thank you for being a crucial part of our journey and for helping us build a brighter and more promising future for the youth we serve.

Warm regards,

Kalisha Reed
